3. how to make USB disk from ghost image

  • It is assumed that Mac OS is not installed, and the explanation is based on Windows.
  • Download the Ghost64 file on Windows.
  • Prepare a 16gb or larger USB disk.
  • Prepare the Big Sur ghost file and restore the image with Ghost.
  • Launch Ghost64 and select Local > Disk > From Image.



  • Select the GHO file and press Open.



  • Select USB disk and press OK.



  • Select the USB-BOOT area and press OK.



  • When prompted,  "Proceed with disk restore?" choose Yes.



  • Burning process takes about 5-10 minutes and will be completed.
